Stuck in the same fight. Carrying a betrayal. Anxious without knowing why.
Therapy for Individuals & Couples in Austin and across Texas
Dina Elmasri, LPC Associate
Supervised by Jaime Telfeyan, PhD, LPC-S
Hi, I’m Dina, a therapist in Austin. I work with individuals and couples across Texas, with a particular focus on healing from codependent, controlling, or difficult relationships and rebuilding self-trust. I also work with overthinking, people-pleasing, shutting down when things get hard.
My approach is warm, direct, and practical. For individuals, I draw on CBT and trauma-informed care to help you understand the thoughts driving your anxiety and build tools that actually work between sessions.
For couples, I’m Gottman Level 2 trained. We’ll slow down the cycles, learn to fight fair, and rebuild trust where it’s been broken.
Reaching out is often the hardest part. You don’t need to have it figured out. Most people don’t. Whatever you’re carrying right now, you don’t have to carry it alone.
Counseling Services
A brief, no-pressure conversation to discuss what’s bringing you in, answer any questions, and see if working together feels like the right fit.
No commitment, just a chance to see if therapy with me feels right for you.
Available for in-person or virtual sessions in Austin, and virtual therapy across Texas.
Some weeks you’re holding it together. Other weeks you’re not sure how you got through. The overthinking won’t quiet down, you say yes when you mean no, and somewhere along the way you stopped trusting your own perception. Maybe a relationship, past or present, left you doubting yourself. Maybe the patterns started long before that.
Together we’ll explore patterns that feel hard to break, make sense of why they exist, and build new coping skills and new ways of relating that actually feel like yours. Drawing on CBT and trauma-informed care to support real, lasting change.
Available for in-person or virtual sessions in Austin, and virtual therapy across Texas.
A space to slow down the cycles, understand what’s underneath them, and rebuild what’s worth keeping. I work with couples navigating communication breakdown, recurring conflict, emotional disconnection, and affair recovery.
Using a Gottman Level 2 trained, evidence-based approach, we’ll learn to fight fair, repair after rupture, and find your way back to each other. Whether you’re in crisis or just tired of the same fight, therapy can change what happens next.
